ABOUT THE ROLE
1) Campaign Management

  • liaises with client to discuss product/service to be marketed and develops the most appropriate strategy to deliver the objectives;
  • defines target group and implements strategy through appropriate media planning work;
    conceives advertising campaign to impart the desired product image in an effective and economical way;
    reviews and revises campaign strategy in light of sales figures, surveys, etc. and takes appropriate corrective measures if necessary;
  • stays abreast of changes in media, readership or viewing figures and advertising rates;
    directs the arranging of conferences, exhibitions, seminars, for clients2) New Business Development:
  • Builds a pipeline of opportunities identifying the key client leads to reach
  • Identifies and reach out to potential clients to promote and sell Comms8 integrated Chinese marketing solutions
  • Engages with key client contacts through personal network, event, trade body, utilising in-bound leads, and proactive out-bound engagement
  • Manages and deliver bespoke proposal for potential client in China & Europe
  • Tracks all conversation and report new business development progress to MD on weekly basis
  • Keeps business up to date with key market and competitive development
  • Develops and improve new business marketing materials and toolkits
  • Attends events and roadshow to promote Comms8
  • Supports the wider team for marketing campaign implementation

3) Content Production Management

  • Designs digital graphic and animation for promotional materials
  • Films and edits promotional video for campaigns and event
  • Localises and writes marketing content in local languages i.e. Simplified Chinese

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience in marketing and sales industry.
  • Excellent communications skill.
  • Strong understand of the Chinese culture and media landscape because we need to provide professional communications strategy for targeting Chinese market.
  • Fluent in both English and Simplified Chinese (written & spoken) is a must because our clients are from China and they are Chinese-speaking.
  • Strong ability to create professional press release and social media content in both traditional and simplified Chinese.
  • Solid skill in using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Experienced in using Google Adword, Tencent Display, Alimama for biddable display activity in multi-markets.
  • Skilled in using Facebook Business Manager, Hootsuite, WeChat and Little Red Book platform for creating and optimising content and boosting post via paid advertising budget.
  • Proficiency in using Bridgedge and Google Analytics for analysing site performance and SEO.
  • Experienced in proactive outbound business development.
  • Eager to learn and demonstrate a high level of curiosity
  • Display “can do” attitude, proactive in seeking solutions
  • Passionate about marketing and branding
